Based on the first 6 volumes of Doraemon Manga series, the movie version released in full 3D computer graphics animation. Directed by award-winning director Takashi Yamazaki (“The Enternal Zero”, “Always: Sunsent on Third Street”)and Ryuchi Yagi(“Resident Evil”, “Clock Tower”), “STAND BY ME: DORAEMON” that opened in Philippine theaters last June 17.
“STAND BY ME:DORAEMON” was a certified box office hit when it was released in Japan late last year. It also became the second highest-grossing Japanese film in Hong Kong after “The Ring.”The film will be released in English featuring the voices of the same cast from the popular English anime series. VIVA Communications, Inc. will be held a STAND BY ME: DORAEMON mall activity last June 12 at Trinoma Activity Center and had their premier night last June 14 at Gateway Mall.
